Description

September is the magical time of year when we enter the Fall season. As the temperature starts to cool down, we begin to see changes in nature. The monarch butterfly prepares to fly south for the winter. All the trees are starting to change into beautiful fall colors. The natural wonder of the Aurora Borealis is more visible in September. We start to notice all the fun fall decorations going up in stores and especially in our own homes. Plus, we celebrate National Literacy Day on September 8th.

The Little Picasso Art Club September box includes craft projects representing all these fun things to kick off our fall season.

Every box contains all the supplies to make:^*

• a monarch butterfly flowerpot;
• a fall lantern;
• a scarecrow wood craft;
• a bookmark to color and use when reading for Literacy Day and throughout the month of September;
• and a nature journal to capture the treasures you find when going outside for walks or on vacation, featuring your very own drawing of the Aurora Borealis.

Also included in the box, a recipe for a yummy treat that you can make with help from an adult. With apples and just a few ingredients, you can make a fun and tasty treat that will become a family favorite all year long!
